Mould

Mould is often found in poorly ventilated areas or as a result of water damage. This can occur on both interior and exterior surfaces and, if left to grow, can cause health issues, particularly for those who suffer with a respiratory condition. Our team will inspect your property and quickly locate the mould-affected area before safely removing it. We will then restore the surface, using mould blocker coats that help prevent moisture from retaining in the future.

Timber Rot

Timber rot, or dry rot, is caused when fungi in the timber is activated by excess moisture. This often occurs in exposed timber such as balcony beams and pergolas, however, weatherboard homes can also be affected. At Sunshine Coast Painters, we can inspect your property for damaged timber and remove it. Our team will then restore windows, fascias, doors, weatherboards, decking and any timber affected. This includes weatherproofing and staining, if required.

Metal Work & Rust

Adding metal surfaces and fabrications can give your property a unique and clean look, but they can rust if not properly maintained. Rusted areas can also stain the previous paintwork and, if left untreated, start to corrode. Our team has the right equipment and skills to repair and restore damaged areas to their original state. We'll also coat the surface with primers to protect the metal against rust and corrosion.

Marks & Stains

A mark or stain can be an unsightly spot on your paintwork. Common marks include:

  • Smoke damage
  • Wine, coffee or food
  • Pen, pencil or crayon
  • Water damage from leaks

If you have tried to cover or clean the stain with no luck, the wrong stain blocker may have been used in the initial paint job. You can be confident that our team will remove the stain for good and have your paintwork looking spotless.
